Drone Flyers Club

Purpose
To organize the efforts of our members to promote the development of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) multi-rotor aircraft commonly referred to as “drones” as a recreational, sporting, and educational activity.
To foster safety and educational programs.
To encourage members to develop good citizenship, sportsmanship, and responsibility toward others.
To promote the exchange of ideas and information.
To aid the community and local public safety organizations whenever possible.

Tuesday @ Soaring Eagle Ball Field
9 AM – Noon
On occasion we may have to give up some flying dates at Soaring Eagle due to softball schedules, maintenance, or other Villages events.
We may occasionally run into some ball players who want to practice who are unfamiliar with our arrangement regarding using field #2.
Be polite in letting them know we have that time scheduled.
Wednesday @ First Responders Recreation Center
9 AM – Noon
On occasion we may have to give up some flying dates at First Responders due to schedules, maintenance, or other Villages events.

Thursday @ Hogeye Walking Path
8 AM – Noon
Located near Edna’s on the Green in Marsh Bend next to the Pitch & Putt Golf Course.
Saturday @ Everglades Soccer Field
8 AM – Noon
Located on the Everglades Soccer Field behind the Pickleball Courts
Before arriving for a club flying session, all drone flyers should do the following:
Fully Charge all your drone batteries, the remote, and your phone/tablet before you come.
